INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION OFFICERS FOR INDIAN NAVY ENTRANCE TEST (INET) FOR VARIOUS ENTRIES – JAN 2021 COURSE.

1. Applications are invited from unmarried eligible men & women candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in under-mentioned branches / entries in the Indian Navy for course commencing Jan 21 at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates must fulfill conditions of nationality as laid down by the Government of India.

2. Educational Qualifications.

(i) These vacancies are tentative and may be changed depending on availability of training slots.

(ii) ‘ Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Holders Candidates having valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India) and born between 02 Jan 1996 and 01 Jan 2002 (both dates inclusive) can apply for Pilot entry as per eligibility criteria stated at Para 2(d) & 2(e).

(iii) ” Merchant Navy Personnel. Candidates having Government of India, Ministry of Shiping & Transport Certificate of Competency (Foreign going) either as a Second Mate, Mate or Master and born between 02 Jan 1991 and 01 Jul 2001 (both dats inclusive) can apply for Executive Branch entry (General Service) and Technical Branch entry (SSC Engineering) as per stipulations stated at Para 2(h) & 2(j) respectively.

3. Who can Apply.

Candidates who have graduated or in the final year of the applicable qualifying degree in the above mentioned disciplines from a AICTE recognised educational institute/AlU certified foreign university can apply for the exam. The candidates will, however, be required to fulfil the educational qualifications stipulated above before joining INA. The candidates failing to meet stipulated educational criteria will not be permitted to join INA, Ezhimala.

4. How to Apply.

(i) . Candidates are to register and fill application on Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. To save time during the application submission window, candidates can fill in their details and upload documents in advance.

(ii) .Online (e-application). Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:-

(a) Correct filling up of personal particulars. Details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate.

(b) Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled. o

(c) All relevant documents (preferably in original), marks sheets upto 5th & 7th semester for regular and integrated B.E. / B.Tech courses & other degree examination respectively, date of £

birth proof (as per 10th & 12th certificate), CGPA conversion formula for BE/B.Tech, Commercial Pilot Licence(CPl) issued by DGCA, Government of India, and a recent passport size 8 colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application. 9

(d) If any scanned document is not legible/readable for any reason the application will be rejected. Candidates are to take printout of application and carry it while appearing for INET(O) or 7 SSB interview. 5

Please read the instructions given on the website carefully before submitting your ‘e-application’ form. Candidates can call Toll-free number 1800-419-2929 and press Option 7 to speak to a customer care representative from Monday-Sunday between 0800-2000 hrs regarding INET(O) and SSB interview.
