IUST Jobs applications are invited from the eligible candidates for walk-in-interview for the below mentioned position available in the research project on “Architectural Epigraphy in Early Modern Kashmir”. The engagement is purely temporary and is co-terminous with the project. The other details and requirements are given below.

Name of the post : Research Assistant

Number of posts : 01

Salary : Rs. 12,000/- per month consolidated

Eligibility : Bachelors Degree in any field with at least one year of experience in graphic media, including familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and similar software’s.

Terms & Conditions :

1. The appointment shall be purely temporary for a period of 5 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

2. The appointee shall not claim whatsoever for regularization in the university during project tenure or after the project concludes.

3. The appointee shall be governed by the disciplinary regulations of the university.

4. The appointee will be reviewed periodically for performance and if it is found unsatisfactory, the engagement will be terminated at any time without any prior notice.

5. The appointee is neither permitted to publish the research findings of the project without consent of the Principal Investigator nor disclose the information pertaining to intellectual property rights.

6. The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the rules & regulations of university and/or funding agency (wherever applicable) with amendments from time to time.

7. The University reserves the right to defer / not to filling up of post advertised here-in above, without assigning any reason thereof.

8. The salary component is subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.

Interested candidates should report to the office of the Dean School of Architecture, Planning & Geomatics, Islamic University of Science & Technology, Awantipora along with all relevant documents in original and a set of Xerox copies (self-Attested) for the interview on 08-05-2024 at 11a.m. Candidates should report to the venue 30 minutes before the scheduled time for scrutiny of documents.
