IUST Re-advertisement Notice for Various Posts

Due to the poor response to the Advertisement Notice No. 07 of 2023 dated: 27-09-2023 & Re-advertisement Notice issued vide No. IUST/Reg/Adv/E/23/346 Dated: 24-11-2023 , Islamic University of Science and Technology, Kashmir, in terms of the UGC Model Guidelines for Reemployment of Superannuated Teachers and for Engaging Professor of Practice in the Universities, invites applications for the engagement of a Professor on contract basis in the Department of Environment Sustainability and Climate Change. Interested candidates / experts shall have made remarkable contributions in the areas of

(a) Sustainability (b) Earth Sciences (c) Remote Sensing & GIS (d) Air Pollution (e) Climate Change / Climatology (f) Environmental Chemistry /Atmospheric Physics (g) Forestry (h) Aquatic Ecology (i) Water Resource Engineering / Management (j) Wildlife and allied subjects.

The eligibility / engagement shall be governed by the concerned UGC Guidelines applicable for Re-employment of Superannuated Teachers and for engaging Professor of Practice.

Note:

1. Date of availability of online application forms : 25-06-2024.

2. Last date of submission of online application forms : 15-07-2024 (4.00 PM).

3. The detailed CV containing all the contributions made by the applicant, highlighting his/her achievements shall have to be mailed on [email protected] by or before 16-07-2024.

4. Age must be less than 64 years, however, preference shall be given to the candidates less than 62 years.

5. Candidates who have applied against previous advertisement notices have to reapply.
