Applications are invited from the candidates as per the eligibility (see below) for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the National Mission on Himalayan Studies, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Govt. of India sponsored project ‘Himalayan Alpine Biodiversity Characterization and Information System-Network (NMHS-IIRS)’.

Eligibility: First class M.Sc. in Environmental Science/ Botany/Forestry/Ecology/Remote Sensing & GIS (with specialization in Forest Ecology) with 65% marks or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

Remuneration per month: Rs. 31,000+ 9% HRA.

Upper age limit: As per UGC norms.
