The School of Biotechnology, University of Jammu, invites applications for Project Associate-I positions under a DBT-funded project titled “DBT BUILDER University of Jammu Interdisciplinary Life Science Programme for Advanced Research and Education.” The recruitment is for two positions, which are temporary and co-terminus with the project. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must submit their applications to the School of Biotechnology within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.

Vacancies: 2
Monthly Emoluments:
₹31,000 + 16% HRA (for candidates with NET/GATE or equivalent qualification).
₹25,000 + 16% HRA (for candidates not qualifying under the above category).

Eligibility:

Essential Qualification:
Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry from a recognized university or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification:
Experience in handling microbial techniques, instrumentation, scientific equipment, data handling, and documentation.

Age Limit:

Maximum: 35 years
