Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Nanosciencc and Materials of the University.

Name of the Temporary Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)- 01

Name of lire Research Project : Fabrication of lnorganic/Organic Hetcrojunctions for Optoelectronic Devices

Name of the Sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India.

Tenure of the Project : 02 Years 10 Months

Tenure of the Assignment : 02 Years 10 Months (initially appointed for 6 Months and may be extended up to completion of the project based on performance)

Job Description To carry out the research work related to the project.

Monthly Fellowship Rs.25,000 (1st & 2nd year) and Rs.28,000 (3rd) + 10 % (H.R.A) for NET / GATE/ JEST/ M.Tech. Lesser fellowship will be offered for others as per SERB rules.

Essential Qualifications and experience
Master’s degree in Material Science/ Nanoscience/Physics/ Applied Physics/Chemistry/Applied Chemistry’ or other relevant subjects from a recognized University / Institution with 55% Marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences
Valid NET / GATE / JRF (CSIR / UGC)/JEST/ M.Sc.-M.Tech.

Bachelor accommodation in the Institute may be provided subject to availability.

Note: Temporary Academic Block ( Just 7 KM from Jammu Tawi Railway Station) and Main Campus (Bagla- 30 KM from Jammu Tawi Railway Station) are different. Please be sure to reach Temporary Academic Block, Sector E Ext. Near Sainik Farm Banquet Hall, Sainik Colony, Jammu.
