JKPSC RECRUITMENT 2016 NOTIFICATION NO. 10- PSC (DR-P) OF 2016 DATED:07.04.2016. In this latest notification of JKPSC they are going for recruitment of Assistant Commissioner Food Safety in Drug and Food Control Organization J&K. in Health & Medical Education Department.

Applications are invited from the permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir State possessing the prescribed academic qualification and age for the posts of Assistant Commissioner Food Safety in Drug and Food Control Organization J&K in Health & Medical Education Department as per the category-wise break-up tabulated below. The above said post carry the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4800:-

Assistant Commissioner Food Safety in Drug and Food Control Organization J&K in Health & Medical Education Department

a) Date of commencement for submission of online applications = 07. 04.2016

b) Last date for submission of online applications = 07. 05.2016

c) Last date for submission of fee/bank challan = 09.05.2016

Qualification Required 

1. A degree in Food Technology or dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Science or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Master’s degree in Chemistry or degree in Medicine from a recognized University, or
2. Any other equivalent/recognized qualification notified by the Central Government, and
3. Has successfully completed training as specified by the Food authority in a recognized institute or Institution approved for the purpose.

Age as on 1st Januarv 2016:

Minimum = 18 Years

Maximum = 40 Years

Candidates in Govt. Service = 40 Years

Physically handicapped candidates = 42 years

Candidates belonging to RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC categories = 43 years

Ex-serviceman = 48 years

Scheme of selection:

The scheme of selection shall be notified separately.

Examination Fee:

After successful submission of the form online, a challan will be generated indicating the basic details of the candidate which inter-alia shall indicate the amount of fee to be deposited in the J&K Bank branch as given below:-

General Category       =           Rs.505.00

Reserved Categories =            Rs.255.00

The total amount of fee payable shall include Rs.05/- as service charges of the J&K Banks
Centre of Examinations
The Examination will be held at different centres located in Srinagar and Jammu cities.
