Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as Lecturers, Librarian and Physical Training Instructor and Assistant Lecturers on academic arrangement basis in Government College of Engineering & Technology, Chak Bhalwal Jammu for the academic session 2016-17 in the following streams/subject:-

1. Mathematics
2. Physics
3. Chemistry
4. Electronics & Communication Engg.
5. Computer Engg.
6. Mechanical Engg.
7. Civil Engg.
8. Electrical Engg.
9. Humanitites
10. Physical Training Instructor.
11. Librarian

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:

1. Lecturers (Engineering) on academic arrangement.

The candidates must possess B.E/B.Tech and Master’s Degree in relevant branch with first class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech or Master’s Degree.

2. Lecturers (English, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Mathematics) on an academic arrangement.

The candidates must possess Post-graduate degree in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically & Visually Handicapped candidates) along with NET/SLET/Ph.D.

3. Lecturers (Humanities-Management) on an academic arrangement.

Master’s degree in relevant subject with first class (60%) or equivalent (55% in case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates) along with NET/SLET conducted by UGC/CSIR/ Association of Indian University (AIU) University of Kashmir/Jammu with accreditation from UGC or Ph. D in concerned subject, d          Assistant Lecturer.

The candidates must possess Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject having secured minimum 55% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically & Visually Handicapped candidates).

1. Librarian & Physical Training Instructors (PTI)

The candidates must possess Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject i.e M. Lib & M.P Ed respectively having minimum 55% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically & Visually Handicapped candidates) along with NET/SLET/Ph.D.

Selection:

The Selection Committee comprising of the following officers shall prepare a single list of the candidates to be engaged on academic arrangement basis for the session 2016-17.

1. Director Colleges, as Coordinator.
2. Principal, GCET, Jammu.
3. Subject Experts.
