Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following Non-Teaching positions : –

1. Network Administrator: (Pay Band of Rs. 15600-39100 GP-5400/-)

a) M.Tech. / M.E. in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering & Information Technology/Computer Applications with minimum 2nd Class or equivalent in grade point average having CCNP / MCSE / RHCE certifications & also having experience of handling the servers.

b) 05 years of experience in handling Networks of large enterprise/Universities/Institutions in the immediate lower Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4220/- or equivalent.

c) Desirable : The preference will be given to the candidates having exposure in Data centre applications, Services deployment like (Qmail, Web, PDC on Linux platform) and also having experience in Network Design and Management

2. Network Technical Assistant : (Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800 GP-4220/-)

a) Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Information Technology/MCA with minimum 55% marks or equivalent in grade point average.

b) 05 years of Experience in handling wireless, Ethernet & Fibre Based Networking Configuration of switches/routers etc.

c) Candidates having CCNA certification & experience of network handling will be preferred
