Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Chief/ Divisional/ Zonal Security Officers (On Contract)

Name of the Posts :-

Chief Security Officer : One (01) at Corporate Headquarters, Srinagar

Salary : Rs. 50,000/- Per Month

Divisional Security Officer : One (01) at Zonal Office Jammu

Zonal Security Officer: One (01) each at Zonal Offices – Baramulla, Budgam, Doda, Pulwama and Udhampur

Salary : Rs. 45,000/- Per Month

Qualification : Graduate in any discipline preferably from a recognized University.

Age as on 01.01.2024 : 62 years (Maximum)

Experience :

I. Chief/ Divisional Security Officer : The candidate should have been in the rank of SP
(Superintendent of Police) or equivalent in Police/ Army/ Paramilitary forces, with excellent/
meritorious service record, with minimum of three years of experience as Superintendent of
Police or equivalent.

II. Zonal Security Officer : The candidate should have been in the rank of DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) or equivalent in Police/ Army/ Paramilitary forces, with excellent/ meritorious service record, with minimum of three years of experience as Deputy
Superintendent of Police or equivalent.

Job Description :

a. You shall be responsible for the over-all implementation and routine periodic review of the  Security Policy.

b. You shall be responsible for planning and execution of security at Banks premises in compliance with the directives/ guidelines issued by the Government of India, Reserve Bank of India and Indian Banks Association in consultation with Central Security Department under guidance of Central Security Committee as per the periodicity set.

c. You shall be responsible for maintaining efficiency, training and discipline of security staff working under you.

d. You shall maintain close liaison with Police, Fire Services, local functionaries and other UT/ State/ Central Government authorities so as to secure their cooperation and coordination concerning the security of the Banks property.

e. You shall give professional opinion and inputs to Central Security Department for keeping the Security set up fool proof.

f. You shall attend to any other work assigned by the Bank from time to time relating to functioning of Banks Security set up.

g. In the event of your absenting from duty, you shall be required to make substitute arrangements acceptable to the Bank viz. in terms of qualification and experience at your own risk and cost.

Selection Process : 

The applications shall be screened for shortlisting of the eligible candidates on the basis of qualification, experience and suitability of the candidate. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Interaction to assess knowledge, experience and skill.
