 Wildlife Warden Kishtwar Jammu Jobs: Advertisement Notice Wildlife Warden Chenab Division Kishtwar invite applications for two positions each of ‘Junior Research Fellow / Junior Project Fellow’ and ‘Field Assistant’ purely on temporary basis under Snow leopard population assessment in Kishtwar High Altitude National Park & fringe areas of Wildlife Division Chenab Kishtwar project in Institute of Mountain Environment, Bhaderwah Campus. University of Jammu The duly complete application on the prescribed format accompanied with all supporting documents (as required in part-l of Evaluation format) and a fresh CV of the candidate must reach to the Regional Wildlife Warden, Department of Wildlife Protection, Manda, Jammu – 180005 (J & K) within 15 days of the publication of this notification.

In case of large number of application, on the spot screening based written objective test shall be conducted. Any delayed submission of essential documents shall not be entertained Also for postal delay department shall not be responsible and such receipt shall be rejected. Evaluation Criteria:

(a) Junior Research Fellow/Junior Project Fellow:

Eligibility Field: First class M.Sc in Environmental Science/Zoology/ Biodiversity/wildlife with 65% marks CGPA/CPI grading of 6,84 on a 10 scale or equivalent.

Desirable: knowledge about animal population estimates, transact walks, camera trapping and scat sample collection

Nature of Duty: Intensive field Investigations In extreme environmental conditions of Great trans-Himalayas, data Collection, analysis and reporting.

(b) Field Assistant:

Eligibility Field: Matriculation Desirable: Experience In the field survey

Nature of Duty: To assist the research team In field surveys/sampling.
