Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates interested in applying can check the eligibility criteria, age limit, application fee, and other essential details below.

Educational Qualifications :
– Reader: Law Graduate (Professional) from a recognized university established by Law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India.
– Senior Scale Stenographer: Graduation with a Diploma in Stenography and a 6-month computer application certificate.
– Junior Scale Stenographer: Graduation with a Diploma in Stenography and a 6-month computer application certificate.
– Steno-Typist: Graduation and a 6-month computer application certificate.
– Junior Assistant: Graduation and a 6-month computer application certificate or a relevant degree in Computer Applications, B.Tech in IT, or Computer Science.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025) :
– Minimum: 18 Years
– Maximum: 40 Years (Open Merit), 43 Years (SC/ST/ALC/IB/OBC/EWS/RBA)

How to Apply:
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply through the official portal at https://www.jkhighcourt.nic.in between 30.05.2025 and 16.06.2025.

Application Fee:
The application fee for the recruitment process is ₹400, which must be paid online through Net Banking, UPI, Debit or Credit cards.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a written test, shorthand and typing tests (post-wise), and viva-voce where applicable. Criteria and test structure are available on the High Court website.

The registration process for the High Court of J&K and Ladakh recruitment will begin from 30.05.2025.
