GMC SRINAGAR Walk-In-interview is being held as per the following schedule for engagement of the eligible candidates as Scientist-B (Non-Medical) on contract basis for a period of one year for the establishment of Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) under the scheme of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India in the Department of Microbiology, Govt. Medical College, Srinagar.

M.Sc (Medical Microbiology/ Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology) from a recognized University. Desirable: i. Ph.D (Medical Microbiology/ Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/Molecular Scientist-B Biology), shall be counted as a two years of 14.05.2022 research experience. ii) Experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical College, iii) Having research publication in indexed Journal. iv). Knowledge of computer application/Data Management

Requirement:

The eligible desirous candidates may report for the Walk-in-Interview on the scheduled date along with the following documents in original and also bring along self attested photocopies of all these documents

The certificates with regard to qualification mentioned in the eligibility criteria column along with Marks certificates
Experience Certificate if any in the line
Research Publication(s) in indexed Journal.
Permanent Resident Certificate/Domicile Certificate.
Date of Birth Certificate.

Terms and Conditions of the engagement:

The applicants must be domiciles of UT of Jammu and Kashmir
This contractual engagement won’t confer any right upon the hired persons for regular/permanent appointment. The contractual engage shall have to furnish an affidavit duly attested by the 1* Class Magistrate to the effect that he/she will not calm for reappointment’s any futuredateon the strength of this contractual engagement.
The engagement will initially be made for one year and will be extended further subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidates/approval of the competent authority and
- a. Availability of Budget/Funds.
- b. Continuation of this Scheme.
The contractual engagee shall be paid monthly salary of Rs. 56000 plus HRA as per guidelines of the scheme.
The selected candidate shall have to execute an agreement to the effect that he/she will not leave the Department before the completion of one year’s contract. However, abandonment/ termination of the arrangement will require one month’s prior notice on either side, falling which the salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent, which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and shal be released on the completion of sanctioned term.
If the contractual engagee at any point of time willfully neglects or refuses to perform his duties, the appointing authority shall immediately terminate his/her contractual engagement without any notice and he/she shall not be entitled to any salary for such period.
The candidates must be in possession of all required documents and no under process certificate shall be accepted/entertained.
