The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Lecturers in the School Education Department of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. This recruitment aims to fill a total of 575 vacancies across various disciplines, including Arabic, Botany, Chemistry, and more. The initiative is part of the government’s effort to enhance educational standards by appointing qualified educators. JKPSC Jobs Details: The recruitment is for the position of Lecturer with a pay level of 9 (₹52,700 – ₹1,66,700). A total of 575 posts are available, categorized by discipline and reservation for various groups, including Open Merit, RBA, SC, ST, and others.

Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university. Additionally, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is required. Candidates claiming reservation must have valid category certificates.

Age Limit: The age limit for candidates is as follows:

Open Merit: 40 years

Reserved Categories : 43 years

Physically Challenged Candidates : 42 years

In-service candidates : 40 years The age will be calculated as of January 1, 2024.
