SKUAST Jammu Jobs: Applications on plain paper are invited from candidates for the temporary position under DST project entitled “North Indian Centre for Water Technology Research in Agriculture” sanctioned in favour of Dr. Vikas Abrol, Principal Investigator, Division of Soil Science & Ag-Chemistry, FoA, SKUAST-Jammu.

SKUAST Jammu Jobs eligibility and Qualification are mentioned below :

• Name of the Posts: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Posts : 01 Posts
• Emoluments (Rupees): 31000/- plus HRA@8%
• Minimum Qualification:  M.Sc. Agriculture/Allied subjects/Life Science! M.Tech (Soil and water conservation) NET or GATE.
• Desirable Qualification: Experience in soil and plant laboratory analysis, laying field trials, water productivity in agriculture, soil erosion, soil and water conservation /rainwater management.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• The position is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project and will be initially filled up to March 2021.
• The University reserves the righ to fill or not to fill the position, depending on the qualifications/credentials of the candidates etc.
• The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period of the project with no claim of absorption against any temporary/regular post in the University.
• The appointee can be terminated at any time by University without assigning any reason thereof. In event of the relinquishing of the engagement, one month notice is essential.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about interview (online/offline mode) and no TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.

Applications are invited on plain paper indicating post applied for along with CV containing name/permanent address/address for correspondence/ telephone number/e-mail / date of birth/qualification and experience etc along with attested copies of the certificates.

The application should reach to the office of Dr. Vikas Abrol, Principal Investigator, Division of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, SKUAST-J, Chatha, Jammu-180009 (J&K); (mobile: 7006155849; email: [email protected]), before or on 23.03.2021 by 11.00 am.

Eligible candidates will be allowed to appear in interview through online/offline mode on 23.03.2021 from 3.00 pm onwards at Directorate of Research, SKUAST-J, Chatha-180009. Candidate must provide mobile number having video calling enabled and no TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
