J&K  SSCL Jobs: Applications are invited for the appointment of the Senior Urban Planning and Design Expert, Urban Architect / Planner posts on contractual basis in Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) to be stationed in Srinagar City.

Name of the Posts: Senior Urban Planning and Design Expert

• Qualification: Masters’ Degree in Planning or in Architecture, by a recognized National or International University and Bachelors’ Degree in Architecture, by a recognized National or International University.
• Salary: The Consolidated monthly remuneration remuneration (inclusive of all allowances, perquisites and taxes) shall be Rs.1,75,000.
• Experience Required
  • Candidate should have experience in formulation, planning, designing, and leading of a wide spectrum of projects of various scales in urban area related to urban mobility, urban design schemes, complete street designs, waterfront planning, urban place-making projects, projects on walking and cycling, etc.
  • Should possess working knowledge of transit-oriented development planning process, form- based codes, urban rejuvenation plans, participatory planning process, etc.
  • Should possess knowledge of IT-based monitoring systems for urban mobility and/ or urban sanitation, waste-water systems, solid waste recycling systems and water-sensitive planning
  • Candidates should be well versed with Smart City Mission objectives. Candidates with prior working experience in any Smart City or in Central Govt/ State Govt/ UT and demonstrating relevant experience will be preferred.
  • Awards won in any of the above areas of work shall have added advantage for choice of the candidate.
  • Mandatory software skills: AutoCAD, Adobe In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Office.

Name of The Post: Urban Architect / Planner

• Qualification: Masters’ degree in Architecture or Planning by a by a recognized National or International University and Bachelors’ Degree in Architecture, by a recognized National or International University
• Salary: The consolidated monthly remuneration (inclusive of all taxes) shall be INR 50,000.
• Experience Required:
  • Candidate should have led projects and have experience in formulation, planning and designing of a wide spectrum of projects of various scales in urban area related to urban mobility, urban design schemes, complete street designs, waterfront planning, urban place making projects.
  • Should have experience in preparation of DPRs, RFPs, reports. Should be fluent in English language and should possess excellent presentation skills.
  • Candidates should be well versed with Smart City Mission objectives.
  • Candidates with prior working experience in any Smart City, and demonstrating relevant experience will be preferred.
  • Awards won in any of the above areas of work shall have added advantage for choice of the candidate.
  • Mandatory software skills: SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D rendering software, MS Office.
