The eligible candidates are invited for Walk-ln-Interview on 16.05.2017 at 10.30 AM at ICAR-CITH, Srinagar for the following temporary positions on purely contractual basis, coterminous with the sanction of scheme/ project. The candidates who fulfill the requisite qualifications as indicated below should bring their brief bio-data neatly typed and experience certificates along with original and attested photocopies of qualification certificates, passport size photographs for verification and submission.

1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) 01 (One)
Project Network project on Onion & Garlic
Essential qualification: M. Sc in Agricultural Entomology/ Plant Protection or Zoology with specialization in Entomology with NET.
Desirable Qualifications: – Research experience in agricultural insect pest/ mite identification, monitoring and management, basic knowledge of data collection, statistical analysis and MS Excel functions.

Essential Qualification: M. Sc in Vegetable crops/ Agronomy/ Soil Science or Botany with NET.
Desirable Qualifications: – Research experience in vegetable crops production, maintenance and evaluation. Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and MS excel functions.

Project National Saffron Mission
Essential qualification: M. Sc in Agriculture/ Biotechnology
Desirable Qualifications: – Experience in saffron production technology/ saffron tissue culture

Age

The Upper age limit for SRF/Technical Associate will be 35 years (men) and 40 years (women) as on 01.05.2017. Relaxable in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women as per rule.

NOTE:

Selected candidates for the position of SRF TA will be paid emoluments as per norms of Govt, of India/ ICAR.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.

No objection certificate from the employer/University, in case he/she is employed
