LAHDC invites the application form the eligible candidates for the Post of Technical Assistant (Junior Engineer) purely on contract basis dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Grant Act (MGNREGA) as per break up given below.

As supporting staff on contractual basis under MGNREGA for one year extendable further on the basis of performance or till the time funds under the scheme are available.

Qualification Required :

Technical Assistant (Junior Engineer), the qualification is Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/Draftsman Course. In case no such candidate is available then ITI Civil Engineering shall be considered

Age :
The age of the applicant as on 01-01-2016 should not less than 10 years and not more than 37 years in case of open merit candidates and 40 years in case of SC/ST/ALC/OSC category candidates

Salary
Salary of Technical Assistant with Degree in Civil Engineering will be paid Rs.10625+CA per month. Those with Diploma in Civil Engineer will be paid R$. 10000+CA per month and those with Draftsman Civil Engineering will get Rs.9375+CA per month and for ITI holders the salary will be Rs. 8750+CA per month

Selection procedure:

1. The appointment shall be initially for tenure of one year extendable further on the basis of performance and it shall be terminable with one month notice from either side but with immediate effect on the basis proven non performance or mis-porformance. The candidates with previous experience like the erstwhile Motivators of TSC will also be given due weightage while making the selection.

In case there is large number of applicants the interview shall be limited to the candidates five times the number of posts after short listing strictly on the basis of academic merit

The unit of selection shall be Block level but if no qualified candidate is available within the Block concerned then candidates from the District shall be considered.
