Eligible candidates are invited for Walk-in-Interview for academic arrangement as Assistant Professor (contractual) in the Department of Physics for the Academic session, 2018.

Eligibility

I. M.Sc. Physics with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA.
II. NET/SLET/SET, however, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET.
Note: Non NET/Ph.D. Candidates with a minimum of 65% or equivalent GPA at M.Sc. level can also apply. However, they can be considered for the selection only if candidates with NET/Ph.D. are not available.

General Terms & Conditions:-

• The candidates shall report for interview at 9.30 a.m. on the scheduled date to the office of the Registrar, Islamic University of Science & Technology, Awantipora, Pulwama, Kashmir.

• Candidates should bring one recent passport size photograph, all relevant documents in original supporting their candidature along with a Xerox set duly self-attested.

• The engagement is meant for the academic session ending December, 2018.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Salary:

i. Candidates with Ph.D./NET : Rs. 33, 000/-per month

ii. Candidates without NET/Ph.D. : Rs. 25,000/-per month.
