VISIT TO COCA COLA PLANT

Coca Cola Company is the world’s largest beverage company, largest manufacturer distributor & marketer of non-alcoholic beverage concentrate & syrups in the world & is one of the largest corporations in the United States. The students of our commerce stream got this esteemed opportunity to have an industrial visit to a prestigious company, coca cola. The industry visit carried out by the students was full of learning. The visit gave opportunity to connect with the product, which they all consume, students got an understanding of the various processes undertaken while being guided through a perfect interactive tour by companies quality manager & HR manager. The students were impressed with the process execution in the plan & by the efficient, smooth running system, as learning through observation is more effective. The students after taking round of the plant had a rapid fire quiz executed by the companies HR manager. The quiz carried questions related with the process execution of the product & quality standards that they observe & inquired while on the plant tour. Rameshwar from class 12 was prompt in answering the questions & got award for it. Students during their visit observed strict control coca cola takes to ensure highest standards of quality, safety & discipline.

Students were accompanied by business studies faculty Ms. Sarika who said that this visit and observations made by the students are going to help them understand the nuances of the subject in a better manner. Principal cum Vice chairperson Mrs Rohini Aima congratulated Ms. Sarika for taking up this strategy of first hand learning experience for the students. She also congratulated Rameshwar for winning the quiz.
