TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 01-02-2021 NHW-44

Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road condition LMVs (passenger) shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu

CUTOFF TIMING

LMVs from Srinagar 1200 hrs. to 1500 hrs. & from Zig (Qazigund) 1300 hrs. to 1600 hrs.

HMVs/Load Carriers

Only stranded vehicles between Nashree and Banihal shall be allowed towards Srinagar

Note:- The weight bearing capacity of installed bailey bridge is less than 40 metric ton

SFs Convoy Movement

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/ traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and narrowness of Bailey bridge. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW.

NOTE- On 04-02-2021 Thursday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/ repairing of the NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD

Mughal road closed due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD

SSG road closed by the J&K Govt, vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
