Jammu Srinagar Today, Tomorrow, Daily National Highway Traffic update, Advisory for 27-01-2021 NHW-44.

TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 27-01 -2021 NHW-44.

Tomorrow subject to fair weather and better road condition only one way traffic shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu including Banihal-Ramban (local traffic) on Jammu-Srinagar NHW . No vehicle including live stock/fresh perishable shall be allowed in the opposite direction . TCU Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.

Note;-The weight bearing capacity of installed bailey bridge is less than 40 metric ton.

CUT OFF TIMING:

LMVs from Zig (Qazigund) 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs

No vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing.

HMVs/Load Carriers

HMVs shall be allowed from Zig (Qazigund) towards Jammu.

SFs Convoy Movement

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/ traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and narrowness of Bailey bridge. They may ply from Srinagar towards Jammu after confirming the status of NHW.

NOTE- On 29-01 -2021 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/ repairing of the NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD

Mughal road Closed due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD

SSG road closed by the J&K Govt, vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
