TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 31-01-2021 NHW-44

TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS. J8K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 31-01-2021 NHW-44.

Tomorrow, subject to fair weather and better road condition, only one way traffic shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar including Ramban-Banihal (local traffic) on Jammu-Snnagar NHW. No vehicle including livestock/fresh perishables shall be allowed in the opposite direction. TCU Jammu shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic

Note;-The weight bearing capacity of installed bailey bridge is less than 40 metric ton.

CUTOFF TIMING:

LMVs from Nagrota (Jammu) 1000 hrs to 1400 hrs. 8 From Jakheni (Udhampur) 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs

No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing

HMVs/Load Carriers

HMVs shall be allowed from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Srinagar after the LMVs

SFs Convoy Movement

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/ traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW and narrowness of Bailey bridge. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD

Mughal road closed due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD

SSG road closed by the J&K Govt, vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
