J&K Govt approves 575 Lecturer Posts: Sakeena.

Sakeena Masood, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, approved the proposal to advertise 575 open positions for 10+2 Lecturers under direct quota in 24 streams of the School Education department for recruitment, in keeping with Omar Abdullah’s commitment to lead the government in providing jobs to the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir who are unemployed.

In order to meet the urgent demand for trained teaching staff for higher secondary colleges, these positions—which have been open for a number of years—have been referred to the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) for fast-track recruitment.
