J&K Govt orders Mass promotion of Students from Class 1st to 9th & Class 11th.

Mass promotion of the students of HSP-I (Class XI) Annual Regular,2020 (Summer Zone Jammu Division) and 2019-2020 Annual-Biannual Private (Winter zone Jammu Division and Kashmir Division).

Reference: -Letter No.Edu/BOSE/44/2017 dated 07-04-2020 of the Deputy Secretary to the Government, School Education Department.

Whereas, the Annual Regular examination 2020 of HSP-I (Class XI) for the
candidates of Summer Zone Jammu Division which was scheduled to be conducted with effect from 20th of March,2020,had to be postponed as a preventive measure in view of spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

Whereas, likewise the examination of Private fresh/failure/reappear candidates of HSP-I(Class XI)2019-2020/Annual-Biannual belonging to Kashmir Division and Winter Zone Jammu Division was also slated to be held during the month of April 2020.
Whereas, in view of the prevailing situation, it is apparent that the conduct of the said examinations is impossible in the near future, and the delay in the conduct of said examinations may adversely affect the academic career of candidates who were supposed to participate in these examinations.

Now therefore, in order to save their academic future, it is hereby notified as
under:-

01.That all the eligible Candidates who had to appear in the HSP-I (Class XI)
2020/Annual Regular examination, falling under summer zone of Jammu Division (that stands postponed) and have been allotted/issued Roll No. slips are PROMOTED to HSP-II (Class XII) as one time exception.

02.That all the candidates who were to appear in HSP-I(Class XI) Annual/Biannual 2019-2020 Private examination falling under Winter Zone in Jammu Division and Kashmir Division are also promoted to HSP-II(Class XII) as one time exception, provided that all such candidates have submitted the permission cum admission forms for the said examination, deposited the examination fee as per the schedule  2 already notified in this regard by the JK BOSE and have been found eligible to appear in the said examination.

03.That the promotion of the candidates (in both the divisions) shall be subject to the condition that, if for any reason at any stage of time in future, it is found that the candidate/s was/were not eligible for appearing in HSP-I (Class XI) examination and has been granted promotion to HSP-II (Class XII), the JKBOSE reserves the right to cancel his/her/their promotion instantaneously without any prior notice.

04.Other terms and conditions with regard to issuance of Marks certificates etc. to  the promotees shall be decided and notified separately in due course of time.
