JK Traffic Update details

Jammu Srinagar Today, Tomorrow, Daily National Highway Traffic update, Advisory for 11-03-2021 NHW-44.

Jammu Srinagar Traffic update details:

TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 11-03-2021 NHW-44.

In view of inclement weather prediction issued by MeT department for next few days, there are chances of blockade of NHW-44. Peoples are advised to avoid journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. However, subject to fair weather and better road condition, LMVs (Passenger) shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW viz Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa . However, TCU Jammu/Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.

CUTOFF TIMING:

LMVs from Nagrota (Jammu) 0500 hrs to 1000 hrs, from Jakheni (Udhampur) 0600 hrs to 1100 hrs & from Zig Qazigund 0800 hrs to 1200 hrs No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing.

HMVs/Load Carriers

HMVs shall be allowed from Zig (Qazigund) towards Jammu after tail of up LMVs crosses Banihal.

NOTE- On 12-03-2021 Friday, there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/ repairing of the NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD

Mughal road is blocked due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD

SSG road is closed by the J&K Govt, vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
