Kailash Manasarova Yatra 2015

Organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, the Yatra is. pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarova Known for its religious and cultural values, physical beaul and thrilling nature, it holds significance for Hindus as abode of Lord Shiva, as also for Jains and Buddhists.

ELIGIBILITY : Indian nationals aged 18-70 years as on 1st January 2015.
DURATION : Up to 25 days for each batch between June and September.
SELECTION : By computerized draw, followed by medical tests.

Given the extremely arduous nature of the Yatra, only those who are physically fit and healthy should apply to undertake the Yatra, purely at their own volition, cost, risk and consequences.
