32 employees were discovered absent during a surprise inspection in Anantnag.

Dr Piyush Singla, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, has ordered that the one-day salary of 32 employees who were found absent in the south Kashmir district on Saturday be deducted.

The order came after a surprise inspection of various offices by the DC, accompanied by ADC Anantnag Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, to check employee attendance.

In addition to deducting one day’s pay from 32 employees, Deputy Commissioner Dr Piyush Singla confirmed that disciplinary action against the absentees has been initiated.
