Jammu Srinagar Traffic update details:

TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K, JAMMU/SRINAGAR

TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 09-03-2021

In view of inclement weather prediction issued by MeT department for next few days. there are chances of blockade of NHW-44. Peoples are advised to avoid journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW . However, subject to fair weather and better road condition, only stranded vehicles between Udhampur and Nashree shall be allowed towards Srinagar.

SFs Convoy Movement
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW

NOTE- On 12-03-2021 Friday , there shall be no traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar NHW from either side in view of maintenance/repairing of the NHW.

MUGHAL ROAD
Mughal road is blocked due to snow accumulation.

SSG ROAD
SSG road is closed by the J&K Govt. vide DIVCOM Kashmir’s order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.

People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
