Summer holiday in all schools in the Kashmir division

The J&K School Education Department (SED) announced that all schools in the Kashmir division will be closed for a 10-day summer holiday beginning on July 1 due to the oppressive heat and forecasts of severe weather continuing for the upcoming week across Kashmir.

The SED declared summer vacation a day after the Divisional Commissioner for Kashmir stated that a decision regarding the break would be made on Monday.
