TRAFFIC POLICE ADVISORY FOR 20th NOVEMBER 2025 JAMMU.

On the eve of 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Baghadur Ji, the procession of devotees will start from Gurdawara Bibi Chand Kour for Sri Anandpur Sahib in Punjab at 0800 hours. The procession will follow the following route:–

Gurdawara Bibi Chand Kour – Dogra Chowk – Bikram Chowk – Asia Crossing – Convent Crossing – Main Stop Gandhi Nagar – Last Morh Gandhi Nagar – Satwari Gangyal – Kunjwani – Bari Brahmana.

In order to ensure smooth movement of traffic during the movement of procession, the following traffic diversions/restrictions shall be made enroute:–

No traffic movement will be allowed on the procession route during the movement.

Vehicles moving from City South to City North and vice versa shall use 4th Tawi Bridge / Gujjar Nagar Bridge during the movement of procession for their convenience.

Motorists bound for Nagrota/Udhampur axis shall use the Bypass road via Qasim Nagar – Sidhra for their convenient movement.

No wrong or unauthorized parking shall be allowed on the procession route.

Some additional on-ground restrictions/diversions will be implemented as per ground requirement to ensure smooth traffic flow.

General Public is requested to cooperate with Traffic Police for ensuring smooth conduct of the event and better traffic regulation.
