Weather Update Rain, snow expected from Monday.

Jammu and Kashmir would experience a new Western Disturbance on Monday, despite the local weather forecast calling for rain and snowfall from October 9 to 10.

Sonum Lotus, the director of the meteorological department, stated that isolated areas of Kashmir may expect today’s weather to be partly cloudy with a brief period of rain.

He predicted that tomorrow’s weather would be fair to partly overcast in Jammu & Kashmir.

The main activity would take place on October 10, according to Lotus, who also said that there is a chance of rain and snowfall over higher levels in various locations in Jammu and Kashmir from October 9 to 10.

From October 14 to October 20, the weather would be primarily dry, however there is a chance of a brief period of rain or snowfall over higher elevations.

Farmers have been instructed by the weatherman to postpone harvesting on October 9 and 10.
