The Indian Institute of Carpet Technology (IICT), Srinagar has launched a massive Skill up-gradation programme in 8 districts of Kashmir division wherein Certificate Course in Carpet Manufacturing (CCCM) is conducted with the
objective to develop a trained human resource for the carpet industry. The details of the course are given here-under:

Name of the Course:           Certificate Course in Carpet Manufacturing (CCCM]
Age Limit:                               18-40 Years
Duration of the Course:        04 Months
Intake Capacity:                    35 per batch (03 batches per year) per district,
Stipend:                                   Rs 1000 per month during the period of training.
Venue:                                      Carpet Craft Concentrated Area of the concerned District

for which Advanced Carpet Training Centre (ACTC] shall be established.
Qualification:   
No Academic Qualification shall be required but the applicant must have elementary knowledge of Carpet Weaving.

Selection Process:   
The applicants shall be put to trade test followed by interview by the designated committee. In this regard interested persons desirous of undergoing the said training course may obtain application Forms from below mentioned nominated representatives of concerned District. Duly filled application forms may be handed over to the same district representative by or before 15-02-2015 along with 03 copies of latest passport size Photographs.
