Job Title- PRODUCT OWNER

BQE is on a mission to change how professional services firms operate and serve their clients, we aim to help them to be more and do more. BQEactsas the operating system for these firms by offering an all-in-one SaaS solution to manage projects, track time and expenses, bill clients, collect payments for services rendered, and provide reporting and analytics to inform better decision making. In addition, we offer accounting, CRM and HR capabilities to truly manage firms end to end work. We have an established customer base and are growing. Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Product Owner, you will be the driving force behind our product’s development and success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver innovative features and solutions that meet our customers’ needs and align with our business goals. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication of product goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and align the product roadmap accordingly.
• Facilitatedecision-making processes by providing stakeholders with necessary information and insights.

2. Backlog Management:

• Create, refine, and prioritize user stories, epics, and product backlog items.
• Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all team members.
• Define acceptance criteria for each backlog item and ensure they are met before release

3. Sprint Planning & Execution:

• Lead sprint planning sessions, ensuring that the development team understands the tasks and their priorities.
• Collaborate with the development team during sprints to clarify requirements and answer questions.
• Monitor progress throughout the sprint, adjusting priorities and scope as necessary to meet sprint goals.

4. User Experience & Quality Assurance:

• Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the product delivers a great user experience.
• Validate the product increment delivered by the development team to ensure it meets the defined acceptance criteria.
• Gather and analyze feedback from end-users and other stakeholders to inform future iterations of the product.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously improve the product development process and the efficiency of the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape to ensure the product remains relevant and competitive.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in product management.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, AhaD.

Preferred Skills:

• 2+ yearsof experience in product management role.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design thinking.
• Cerification in Agile (e.g,CSPO,SAFe PO/PM) is a plus
