DSEK has ordered a change in Kashmir school timing for 1st April.

Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) notified new timing for government and private recognised schools functioning outside Srinagar Municipal limits.

With effect from April 1st, 2023, and in accordance with the DSEK order, the schools will be open from 10 am to 4 pm.

“All institutions involved in the matter must rigorously abide by the order. Any departure in this direction will be taken severely “read the order.

Due to the poor state of the city’s roadways as a result of Smart City initiatives, the hours of operation for schools inside Srinagar Municipal borders have been set at 9 am to 2 pm.
