GMC Jammu Junior Staff Nurses Selection list.

Govt Medical College And Associates Hospitals Jammu Engagement of Nursing/Para Medical Staff Junior Staff Nurse under ECRP (Emergency COVID Response Package) in Government Medical College & its Associated Hospitals, Jammu for COVID-19 Management.

Whereas, 150 posts were sanctioned by MD, NHM, Jammu vide letter No. SHS/NHM/J&K/1675-82 Dated: 07-05-2021 for Engagement of manpower under ECRP (Emergency COVID response Package) in Government Medical College & its Associated Hospital Jammu for COVID-19 Management.

Whereas the aforementioned posts were advertised vide Notice No. 05 of 2021 Dated: 08- 05-2021;

Whereas, following selection criteria as decided by selection committee constituted vide Order No. AHJ/2021/1048-1053 Dated: 14-05-2021 has been adopted for preparation of the merit;

Whereas the criteria for the selection of posts of Junior Staff Nurse was approved by the Committee for which minute were also issued on dated 14-05-2021

1 For the post of Junior Staff Nurse Vide the Advertisement Notice No. 05 of 2021 dated 08-05-2021 the weightage would be as such :

B.Sc Nursing =100 Points
OR
Prescribed Basic Qualification = 50 Points
Technical Qualification i.e GNM Diploma = 50 Points
OR
Prescribed Basic Qualification = 50 Points
Technical qualification i.e FMPHW
+GNM, Diploma (For lateral entry candidates) = 50 Points

Whereas, there is urgent requirement of Nursing/Para Medical Staff in Government Medical College & its Associated Hospital, Jammu in view of the situation arisen due to COVID Pandemic.

In view of above and as recommend by the Selection Committee sanction is hereby accorded to the engagement of 150 Junior Staff Nurses as per Annexure “A” and waiting list of 62 candidates at Annexure “B” with the order.

The candidates are engaged under ECRP (Emergency COVID Response Package) for a period of (03) months extended up to (6) months on a montly remuneration basis @ Rs 14,500/PM (Fourteen thousand five hundred) only under the scheme of National Health Mission, J&K in the Government Medical College & its Associated Hospitals, Jammu and for the purpose of COVID-19 pandemic duties only in GMC and its AHJ respectively
