GMC Srinagar notification for candidates applied for Anaesthesia Assistant.

Whereas, this Institution conducted a written test on 06.08.2020 for selection/engagement of Anaesthesia Assistant on academic arrangement basis under SRO 24 of 2019, dated: 19.01.2019; and

Whereas, the result of the said examina­tion was declared on 08.08.2020 and on the basis of marks obtained in the said test, 15 persons were provisionally select­ed for engagement as Anaesthesia Assistant on academic arrangement basis against the available vacancies in the col­lege and its associated hospitals;

Whereas, to meet out the additional manpower for COVID-19, this institution has been authorized to engage 50 more Anaesthesia Assistant under National Health Mission on the following terms and conditions:-

Whereas, these positions are to be filled up on war footing basis to ensure smooth functioning of the hospitals in the prevail­ing circumstances; and

Whereas, floating new advertisement for these positions and then holding anoth­er test will take a lot of time and in the present pandemic situation we cannot afford to waste further time on fresh adver­tisement;

Whereas., in order to cut short the time required for making selection of the suit­able candidates, it has been decided to utilize the merit obtained by the candidates In the written test held on 06.08.2020 for the post of Anaesthesia Assistant;

Now, therefore in view of the above facts and circumstances, applications on prescribed format (Annexure-A) are invit­ed from those candidates who appeared in the written test held on 06.08.2020 and are willing to work in this institution under National Health Mission on the terms and conditions as elaborated above. The desirous candidates can submit hard copies of their applications in the Main Office, Govt. Medical College, Srinagar upto 31.10.2020       (04.00 P.M)
