J&K BOPEE Merit List and Counselling Schedule for Polytechnic candidates.

The J&K BOPEE vide Notification No. 26-BOPEE of 2020 dated 02-09-2020 issued provisional Merit List of the Three Year Diploma Polytechnic candidates for submission of objections, if any, upto 07-09-2020. The Board received the objections, which were examined and on the basis consideration of written objections, the Board has prepared updated Provisional Merit List forming Annexure ‘A’ to this Notification for counselling which is available on the BOPEE website jkbopee.gov.in only.

All candidates figuring in the updated Merit List are advised to bring domicile certificate at the time/day of counselling and other relevant documents, as applicable to them and non-production of same shall debar a candidate to appear before the Counselling Committee.

The Board shall conduct the physical first round of counselling for filling up of available seats in all Government/ Private Institutions of UTs of J&K/Ladakh as per the schedule given herein below simultaneously at BOPEE Office, Srinagar/Jammu through video conferencing:-

The following procedure shall be followed during the physical counselling:-

Subject to the limits fixed by the Board due to Covid-19, candidates who figure in the merit list annexed  to this Notification shall be eligible to participate in the physical first round of counselling provided they have submitted necessary documents online/offline as has been notified by the BOPEE from time to

All the candidates, who are reporting for physical first round of counselling at BOPEE Office Jammu/  Srinagar are requested to adhere strictly to the Advisory issued by the UT Government of J&K from time to time for Covid-19.

Seat matrix shall be uploaded separately on website of the Board within due course of time before

The candidates are advised to report at BOPEE Office Srinagar/Jammu at 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. for attendance/registration on their respective dates of counselling.

The candidate(s), who fail(s) to attend the counselling on his/her due date of counselling shall be allowed to participate on the next day/date of counselling subject to the condition that he/she shall be allotted the seat, which will be available at that point of time irrespective of merit of the candidate concerned.
