J&K Combined Competitive Pre Exam 2025.

JKAS 2025 : JKPSC Applications, through online mode, are invited from applicants, who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, for appearing in the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, in accordance with the rules laid down vide SRO-103 of 2018 dated: 23.02.2018, issued by the General Administration Department, Government of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, and J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2022.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Applicants are advised to update their one time registration before filling the application form.

The application form together with instructions for filling up the application forms will be available on the website of the Commission from 25.08.2025.

Applicants are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the post, before filling up the online application form.

Last date for filling up of online application form complete in all respects (including uploading of the requisite documents) along with the requisite fee (online mode only) is 24.09.2025.

The last date for receipt of online applications provided in the notification shall be the cut-off date for determining the eligibility as regards acquisition of educational/professional qualification, domicile certificate, or any other certificate on the basis of which any reservation is claimed, notwithstanding any extension in the last date of submission of applications.

The minimum and maximum age will however be reckoned with reference to 1st January, 2025.

Applicants can edit some of the fields in their online application form w.e.f 25.09.2025 to 27.09.2025. Instructions in this regard will be separately made available on the website.

Applicants are required to upload all the mandatory prescribed/requisite documents along with the online application form.

CATEGORY CERTIFICATE VALID ON THE CUT OFF DATE AND THE SAME IS REQUIRED TO BE UPLOADED WHILE SUBMITTING ONLINE APPLICATION. IT MAY BE NOTED THAT NO FURTHER OPPORTUNITY TO UPLOAD ANY DOCUMENT SHALL BE PROVIDED THEREAFTER AND ACTION UNDER RULES INCLUDING REJECTION OF APPLICATION/CANDIDATURE MAY BE TAKEN.

THE CERTIFICATE MUST BE IN THE FORMAT PRESCRIBED IN THE RULES ISSUED UNDER THE J&K RESERVATION ACT 2004.

Applicants will not be required to submit a hard copy of the online application form or any other documents to the Commission at the time of filling up online application form.

The applicant will however be required to present/produce a downloaded copy of the online application form along with the original certificates at the time of document verification.

Applicants are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability to pay fee or failure to login to the online application portal on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

The tentative date of Preliminary Examination is 30.11.2025.

Conditions of Eligibility

The conditions of eligibility and age limit etc. of a candidate shall be determined with reference to the Notification SRO-103 dated 23.02.2018 and shall further be subject to the fulfillment of the following parameters:

a) Must be a domicile of UT of J&K; and
b) Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University in India or from a Foreign University declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree of a recognized University
