Zoology in Higher Education Department.

NOTICE

Dated: 10.01.2016

Whereas, the Higher Education Department vide communication No. Edu/Coll/apptt./A.P/2014 dated 19.05.2014, referred 64(Sixty-four) posts(OM-36 RBA-13, SC-06, ST-06), AIC-02 & SLC-01 of Assistant Professor in the discipline of Zoologyto the J&K Public Service Commission for being filled up through direct recruitment from amongst the eligible/suitable candidates in terms of SRO-124dated 21.04.2014; and

Whereas, the J&K Public Service Commission, vide Notification No. 12-PSC(DR-P) of 2014 dated 29.05.2014 invited applications on prescribed format from the permanent residents of Jammu & Kashmir possessing the prescribed qualification. In the said notification it was inter alia mentioned at Note-2 thatthe candidates who have already applied in response to Notification No. 09- PSC(DR-P) of 2013 dated 23.05.2013 for the above mentioned post(s) need not apply subject to the fulfillment of eligibility requirement as laid down in SRO-124 dated 21.04.2014, and

Whereas, in response to the above saidnotifications, the Commission received 287 applications; and

Whereas, these applications were scrutinized and certain deficiencies in respect of following candidates have been found:
