JKSSB Fast track recruitment takes off in J&K

The recent fast-track selection of nearly 8500 young people for class-IV positions has received a lot of praise.

In June 2020, the J&K Services Selection Board (SSB) advertised 8575 class-IV positions, attracting tens of thousands of educated unemployed young. The selecting process was finished in the quickest time possible.

An official said that 8575 class-IV vacancies were advertised by the SSB under the ‘Accelerated Recruitment Programme’ launched by the LG Administration.

“The main aim of the Accelerated Recruitment Programme is to fill the available vacancies in various government departments in a time-bound and transparent manner,” the official said.
