Advertisement Notice No 01 of 2017 shall be conducted w.e.f. 23rd of November 2017 onwards at NIELIT, Kashmir (formerly DOEACC, an Institution Under Ministry of Comm. & IT, Govt of India), as per the schedule annexued at Annexure “A” of this notice.

1. A complete list of the candidates is available on the official website of the J&K SSB i.e, www.jkssb.nic.in and is also available in the office of the Administrative Officer, J&K Services  Selection Board, Division Office, Jammu and Srinagar.
2. Prescribed qualification for posts of JUNIOR ASSISTANT/(again reproduced here) is:

1. Junior Assistant:
(i) Graduation from a recognized University with the knowledge of type writing having not
less than 35 words speed per minute.
(ii) Six months certificate course in Computer Applications from a recognized Institute.

2. Junior Stenographer
i) Graduation from a recognized University having minimum speed of 65 and 35 words per
minute in shorthand and type writing respectively.
(ii) Six months certificate course in Computer Applications from a recognized Institute.
The candidates shall have to produce all original certificates / testimonials before the designated official of the Board at the test venue, failing which he/she will lose the right to sit in the Type Test. A photocopy of each such certificate duly attested by the Gazetted Officer with his / her seal or self-attested by the candidate shall be deposited with the Staff. Further, in case of any deficiency with reference to eligibility is proved, the candidate shall not be considered for selection and will be treated as ineligible and disqualified.

3. The candidate shall have to bring a copy of the respective APPLICATION FORM generated at the
time of submission of the application form.
4. The candidates will be cross checked with the Biometrics taken on 16/11/2017 and any candidate
whose Biometrics do not match will be barred from taking the test.
5. Any candidate found guilty of impersonating or submitting fabricated / tampered documents / testimonials or
making false, incorrect or suppressing material information shall render him / her liable to criminal prosecution
under law and may be debarred permanently or for a specific period for consideration of any or all recruitments
made by the Board. Also canvassing / lobbying in any form will entail disqualification of the candidate(s).
6. A candidate who fails to appear in the test on the scheduled date & time, shall not be allowed to appear in the
the test for the mentioned notification on any subsequent date and shall be disqualified for any further
consideration on this account.
7. No supplementary type-test (of the candidates who happen to miss the type-test scheduled herein)
shall be conducted by the Board on any ground whatsoever.
8. Only those candidates whose accuracy of typing is 90% or above and a type-speed of minimum 35
words per minute shall be considered qualified for further stage of selection.
