JKSSB Seeking of preference to Persons with Disability.

Seeking of preference from candidates belonging to Persons with Disability (PwD) category for Class-IV posts advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 Dated 26.06.2020- regarding.

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) advertised 8575 District/ Divisional/UT cadre posts of Class-IV vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 Dated 26.06.2020, in pursuance of the Jammu & Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020 notified vide S.O 184 dated 4th
of June, 2020 and;

Whereas, these rules inter-alia provide that the procedure for allocation of the Departments shall be prescribed by the Government; and,

Whereas, vide Government Order No. 692-JK (GAD) of 2021 dated 6.08.2021, the General Administration Department, conveyed that the procedure to be adopted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board for allocation of Departments among the candidates selected for Class-IV posts shall be as determined on the principle of ‘Merit-cum, Preference’; and,

Whereas, vide No SSB/Sel/Class-IV/2022/82-87 dated 06.01.2022 the JKSSB notified the provisional selection list/ allocation of cadres under PwD category, in respect of District, Divisional & UT cadre posts of Class-IV advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 Dated 26.06.2020.

Now, therefore, in view of the above, all such PwD candidates who have been provisionally selected/ allocated cadres, are hereby called upon to indicate their order of preference for allotment Departments through link provided on the official website of the Board i.e., www.jkssb.nic.in from 20.01.2021 upto 22 .01.2022.

Note:

Candidate(s) who fails to indicate preference fully or partially, will be deemed to have agreed to any allocation, in respect of such candidate(s), as shall be made by the Board.
