K.E.I Scholarships 2016 Authorized Centers, Eligibility Criteria, Collection and Submission of Applications

K.E.I Scholarships-2016

Iqbal Memorial Trust (IMT), Srinagar in collaboration with Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI), USA

invites applications for need-based scholarships for the year 2016 from meritorious students presently in their 9^th Class.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have secured more than 75% marks in 2015 DIET Board portion of 8^th Class (T2).
Total annual income of the candidate’s household should not exceed INR 1, 50,000. This information shall be verified using multiple sources, so please be accurate.

Collection and Submission of Applications:

Applications can be collected from any of our authorized centers or schools (listedbelow).

Application forms can also be downloaded from the Kashmir Education Initiative website (kashmirei.org).

Documents to be submitted:

Completed application form duly attested by the Principal or Head Master of the current school where student is enrolled in his/her 9^th
Copy of student’s Class 8^th marks certificate duly attested by a gazetted government officer.

Proof of income and declaration of number of school going children in the student’s household signed by the tehsildar OR president of local masjid-committee/Auqaf, according to the format on the application form.

Start date for submitting application forms: 23/11/2015, Time: 10:00 am- 4:00 pm

Last date for submitting application forms: 15/12/2015,Time: 10:00am-4:00pm
