NEET 2021 Result declared. Jammu boy Tanmay Gupta tops.

Tanmay Gupta, an eighteen-year-old from Jammu, has made history by being the first student from Jammu and Kashmir to top the national NEET 2021 exam.

He received an All India Rank 1 with a flawless score of 720 out of 720, out of over 16 lakh students who took the national-level test on September 12.

“I am delighted that I was able to make my UT proud by bringing it to the forefront of our nation,” he added. “Despite the fact that Jammu and Kashmir is a part of the country, it is still kept apart when it comes to medical admissions in premier institutions in other countries.”
