Schools reopen after winter vacation in Jammu

Jammu : It may be noted that the schools have reopened today after winter breaks in Jammu. Earlier, the local govt announced winter vacations until January 10.

Earlier, locals and parents demanded an extension in the vacation due to ongoing winter break.

On 22 Dec, the Government announced winter vacation for schools in Jammu and colleges across J&K UT.

While schools in Summer Zone areas of Jammu division observed winter vacation from December 26 to January 4, 2023, Colleges in Jammu Division (Summer Zone) will have winter vacations from January 1 to January 10.

However, all Government Degree Colleges of Kashmir Division and Winter Zone of Jammu Division observed winter vacations from December 27 to February 14, 2023
