Winter vacations in the schools of Summer Zone of Jammu Division from January 2, 2016

The winter vacations in the schools of Summer Zone of Jammu Division will begin from January 2, 2016.

An order in this regard was issued by the Commissioner/ Secretary, School Education Department, Shaleen Kabra.

“All the Government educational institutions including recognized private schools up to Higher Secondary level falling in the Summer Zone of Jammu division shall observe winter vacations with effect from January 2, 2016 to January 13, 2016”, reads the order.

The Government has made it clear that any default on the part of private schools in observance of the calendar of the winter vacations shall attract action under rules.
