J&K Fire & Emergency Services Shorthand and Type test for Steno Typist, Jr. Assistant.

Fire & Emergency Services J&K, Jammu Shorthand and Type test for the post of Sub Officer—S (Steno-Typist) and Leading Fireman—M (Jr. Assistant).

Conduct of Shorthand and Type test in respect of shortlisted candidates for the post of Sub Officer—S (Steno-Typist) and Leading Fireman—M (Jr. Assistant) advertised in 2013 vide Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2013 dated 12.03.2013.

It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that:-

a) The shorthand and type test of the shortlisted candidates as reflected in Annexure—A for the post of Sub Officer—S (Steno Typist) and type test for the post of Leading Fireman—M (Junior Assistant) as reflected in Annexure—B to this notification, shall be conducted on 26.12.2018 at Fire & Emergency Services Headquarter Gandhi Nagar Jammu. All the concerned candidates are directed to report at the specified venue at 9.00 AM sharp and the tests will start from 10.00 AM.

b) the candidates shortlisted for the tests shown against each post below, have been called in the ratio of 1:3:-

Steno Typist (Sub Officer—S)

Shorthand: 65 words per minute in short hand;
Type test 35 words per minute in typing with 90% accuracy.

Jr. Assistant (LFM -M)

Type test: 25 words per minute with 90% accuracy.

2. In case of tie between two or more candidates, the candidate higher in age will be placed higher in merit.

3. Only those shortlisted candidates shall be allowed to appear in the tests who fulfil all the notified eligibility requirements.

4) No individual interview call letters shall be issued to the candidates for appearing in the tests.

5) No TA/DAwill be paid to the candidates for appearing in the tests.
