62,650 PRE-MATRIC AND POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
Extension or last date for submissions of applications from 4th February to 20th February, 2015 under “Central sector Schemes of Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Scholarships for Students with Disabilities”

46,000 Pre-Matric (for Class IX or X) and 16,650 Post-Matric
(for class XI, XII, Graduate Degree/Diploma etc.)
Scholarships for Students with Disabilities introduced
with effect from 1 st April, 2014.

Who can apply – Eligibility Conditions:
• Students with 40% or more disability and having a disability certificate issued by competent authority; Students with disability studying in a regular full time course in an Institute recognised by Govt. • Parental Income Ceiling: Pre-matric scholarship -Rs. 2.00 lakh 2 per annum; Post-Matric scholarship – Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum.
Whom to apply: For the financial year 2014-15 applications may be
submitted by 20.02.2015 to the concerned authorities of the
respective State Governments/Union Territories to which the
candidate belongs with all necessary documents as per the scheme.
