BGSBU  Appointment of Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University.

Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) has been established by Act no XVI of 2002 of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir. The “Search Committee” constituted by the Hon’ble Chancellor of the University is seeking applications / nominations for the position of Vice Chancellor BGSBU with an intent to widen the search process.

The Vice Chancellor, being the academic and administrative head, is expected to be:

♦ A person possessing the highest level of competence, integrity, morals, and institutional commitment.

♦ Adistinguished academician, with a minimum of 10 years of experience as Professor in a University or 10 years of experience in a reputed research and/ or academic administrative organization with proof of having demonstrated academic leadership.

♦ Preferably not more than 65 years of age on the closing date of receipt of applications of this advertisement.

Salary and Service Conditions

♦ The post carries a pay of Rs. 2,10,000/- (Fixed) per month with Special Allowance of Rs. 11,250/- plus usual allowances

♦ The terms and conditions of the services shall be those as set forth in the Act, Statutes and Ordinances of the University.

♦ Appointment will be made from a panel of names recommended by the Search Committee constituted under the provisions of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act 2002.

Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri academic arrangement for Nursing Colleges (2020-21).

Applications on plain paper along with biodata arc invited from eligible candidates having Degree in M.Sc.(Nursing) with atleast 55% marks from a recognized University or B.Sc.(Nursing) with at least 55% marks from a recognized University and at least one year experience, for academic arrangement as Nursing Tutor for Nursing Colleges of the University at Rajouri, Jammu and Kishtwar. However, the preference will be given to the candidates with higher qualifications and those with lower qualifications may be considered for academic arrangement as Clinical Instructor.

Candidates should have specialization in any of the following

• Obstetrics & Gynaecology

• Community Nursing

• Psychiatric Nursing

• Paediatric Nursing

• Medical Surgical Nursing
